House music inspired design, inspired by the Route 66 sign - but changed to Chicago 85. House was first created around 1985 and was made and played in Chicago and NYC. Using drum machines and bass, the music exploded into the UK in clubs like the Hacienda and Shoom in London. DJ's like Larry Levan and Frankie Knuckles were influential in the creation of a music genre that still is making people dance all over the world.
